Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining business and computer applications software, including mainframe and client/server applications. This role also involves enhancing existing systems and delivering high-quality software solutions tailored to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement software solutions across various platforms.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code based on specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of new and existing programs.
• Create and manage migration packages for system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in both new and legacy systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proven experience in large systems software design and development.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and unit testing.
• Experience with both modern and legacy production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
