    We are seeking a talented utility drafter/designer to join our dynamic new business team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to gas and electric projects and grow within the utility industry.     Responsibilities

    + Work directly with the design team to assist with daily project administration.

    + Develop plan and profile design packages for gas and electric projects.

    + Learn basic concepts of the Exelon system and apply drafting concepts effectively.

    + Create drawings in accordance with Exelon standards for design packages.

    + Submit drafting/design plans within scheduled time frames.

    + Accompany senior designers on field visits to take necessary measurements and pictures for projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Microstation or AutoCAD.

    + Experience in drafting/designing gas or electric utility projects.

    + Strong communication skills for customer interaction and profile view distribution design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with GIS and Asset Suite 8 is a plus.

    + Ability to interface effectively with client engineering teams through written and verbal communication.

    + Being a team player and adaptable to project needs.

    Work Environment

    This position is primarily office-based, with individuals starting off at 5 days per week. There is an opportunity to earn hybrid flexibility based on performance. The role is set within a supportive environment with a good track record of long-term career growth and stock options available through an ESOP company.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
