    Job Description

    We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team focused on prototyping and building electric motors. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are looking to innovate and improve processes. The position will replace a retiring technician known for their expertise in parts movement, tracking, setting up builds, and process innovation.

    Responsibilities

    + Take over responsibilities from a retiring technician known for extensive experience in building electric motors.

    + Engage in prototyping projects, managing both those that move into production and those that do not.

    + Innovate and improve processes, embracing fast-paced innovation and quick learning.

    + Handle parts movement and tracking, ensuring efficient setup of builds.

    + Work with epoxy resin, ensuring no allergies to materials used.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and create new processes.

    + Strong electrical aptitude.

    + Demonstrated ability to innovate rather than follow standard procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Backgrounds in maintenance, machining, mechanics, or similar hands-on roles are suitable.

    + Experience as a machinist, assembler, or farm hand demonstrating mechanical aptitude.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is fast-paced, focusing on innovation and quick learning. You will be working closely with epoxy resin materials, so ensuring no allergies to these materials is crucial. The role involves significant hands-on work and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
