Who we’re looking for
Toyota Financial Services is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Asset Management Technician to provide direct oversight and ownership of the end user hardware asset management space and mature our Hardware Asset Management (HAM) efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT asset lifecycle management and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing HAM processes within ServiceNow. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of our hardware asset inventory and lifecycle management.
What you’ll be doing
+ Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
+ Design, implement, and mature HAM processes and workflows within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
+ Maintain accurate asset records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
+ Collaborate with Deskside support, productivity engineering, procurement, finance, and security teams to ensure asset data integrity and operational efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor asset performance and compliance.
+ Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of hardware assets across all locations.
+ Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, and process improvements in asset management.
+ Provide training and support to stakeholders on HAM processes and ServiceNow usage.
What you bring
+ Experience in IT Asset Management, with a strong focus on hardware assets.
+ Proven experience implementing and maturing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) within ServiceNow.
+ Strong understanding of ITIL principles and asset lifecycle management.
+ Experience with asset discovery tools and integrations (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, etc.).
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Added bonus if you have
+ ServiceNow HAM certification or equivalent experience.
+ Experience with software asset management (SAM) is a plus.
+ Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO 19770).
