    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering TechnicianJob Description

     

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician I, you will play a key role in supporting the development and evaluation of products and processes. This position involves hands-on technical work, including setting up and executing basic product tests, preparing process documentation, and assisting with operational support to ensure the successful production of high-quality components.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and process documentation to assist operations teams.

    + Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering group on product development and evaluation, creating test plans, procedures, and reports under guidance.

    + Contribute to process validation efforts to confirm product compliance with design specifications.

    + Serve as a technical resource to clarify drawing and process requirements for operations staff.

    + Assist the maintenance team with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues.

    + Conduct root cause analysis on product and equipment failures.

    + Manage the selection and procurement of tools and equipment through formal requisition processes.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

    + Exercise sound judgment and discretion in significant matters.

    + Support welding and brazing process development and qualification.

    + Ensure consistent and reliable attendance; flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, may be required.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and process documents.

    + Experience in raw material processing and assembly.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.

    + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive tasks to completion.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BS) required.

    + Prior experience in a manufacturing setting involving raw material processing and assembly.

    + Competency in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis.

    + Experience with welding and brazing development and qualification.

    Work Environment

    The role involves hands-on technical work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, may be required. The position may involve working with advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to support manufacturing processes.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
