    Job Title: Laboratory AnalystJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Analyst to join our team within the environmental testing sector. You will play a critical role in conducting analyses on samples, using advanced instruments and adhering to strict laboratory standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely perform analyses on samples according to company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using advanced instruments.

    + Conduct sample testing using polarized light microscopy.

    + Follow all laboratory QA/QC requirements to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

    + Record data using computer software and programs efficiently.

    + Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.

    + Perform other assigned duties, as requested by the supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in polarized light microscopy, asbestos, and mold testing with at least 2 years of experience.

    + Strong understanding of laboratory quality assurance practices.

    + Bachelor’s Degree in a life science (biology, chemistry, environmental science, etc.) preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1-2 years of polarized light microscopy (PLM) experience required.

    + Experience in mold testing is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a small lab with a total of 5 team members at our Cerritos location, which will be relocating to Cypress by the end of this year. You will be part of a close-knit team consisting of one lab supervisor and three analysts.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
