Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience)
About the Role
Are you a hands-on EHS professional with a passion for safety, compliance, and operational excellence? We’re seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety operations across two industrial manufacturing facilities. This is a mission-critical role with immediate ownership of compliance programs, hazardous materials oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
What You’ll Do
+ Take full ownership of EHS programs including SWPPP, SPCC, RMP, CUPA, IIPP, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Respiratory Protection
+ Oversee hazardous materials programs, including chlorine gas (liquid and vapor) and molten aluminum operations
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (Cal OSHA, AQMD, CUPA, EPA) and maintain all documentation
+ Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and incident tracking using Excel
+ Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to implement preventative safety measures
+ Supervise an EHS Admin and collaborate with 8 internal inspectors
+ Review and update compliance documentation and regulatory reports
+ Support audits, OSHA 300 log submissions, and quarterly incident benchmarking
What You Bring
+ 5–10+ years of EHS experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
+ Deep knowledge of California environmental and safety regulations
+ Proven experience managing hazardous materials (chlorine gas, molten aluminum)
+ Strong program management and documentation skills
+ Intermediate Excel proficiency for compliance tracking
+ OSHA 30 certification required; HAZWOPER, ASP/CSP preferred
+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) and ERP familiarity a plus

Work Environment & Schedule
+ Primary Site: Fontana (85% of time); occasional travel to Chino
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM
+ Setting: Industrial manufacturing with exposure to heat, furnaces, and hazardous materials
+ PPE Required: For handling chlorine and other materials
+ Tools: Manual documentation via Excel and network folders (no digital safety system)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
