    Summary: This is a per diem MRI Tech role and the client is looking for the person to start ASAP. Just a BG check is needed and there is a waiver in place, so the person can start right away. This will be covering for the tech that is on leave until November . However, they are expanding their research clinic, and this has the potential to become and open-ended contract once the other tech comes back from leave.

     

    Duties: Will be scanning children ages 3-5 years old (must be comfortable working with this age range) They will be doing structural scans on the children but will not have to sedate them. They need the person to focus on MR safety and image contrast. If they have experience working with Siemans Scanner that would be a plus but not necessary. They need someone who can hit the ground running (1-2 days of training then on their own). Looking for at least 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech.

     

    Schedule: Candidate can create their own schedule, and the client will schedule the scans based off of the candidate's availability. They are looking for someone to work at least 12 hours a week and would be ok with someone working up to 36 if available. They would like the candidate to be able to give their schedule at least 1-2 months in advance so that they can schedule the scans accordingly.

     

    + Clinic is open Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm (Candidate can work either the morning or evening shift based off of availability

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Minimum 9 months of relevant laboratory or research experience.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills in a laboratory setting.

    + Knowledge of magnetic resonance and medical laboratory procedures.

    + Certification in CRT, ARRT, or ARMRIT.

    + Demonstrated understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

    + High-level knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.

    + Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
