    Position Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter / Designer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for creating and revising detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models used in the fabrication and installation of large industrial systems and

     

    equipment.

    KeyResponsibilities

    + Develop and modify 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

    + Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and technical requirements.

    + Prepare fabrication and construction drawings for piping, pressure vessels, structural steel, and mechanical systems.

    + Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and company drafting practices.

    + Maintain drawing files and documentation in accordance with project and company standards.

    + Participate in design reviews and support field teams with technical drawing updates as needed.

    Qualifications

    + Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in mechanical drafting/design, preferably in industrial or heavy construction environments.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication methods, and construction practices.

    + Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
