Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team for the second shift from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves preparing and mixing potting materials, applying compounds to electronic assemblies, and operating curing ovens. The ideal candidate will ensure quality and consistency in components while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and mix potting materials according to specifications.

+ Apply potting compounds to electronic assemblies using manual or automated equipment.

+ Operate curing ovens and related machinery.

+ Inspect components for quality and consistency.

+ Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Complete production documentation and logs accurately.

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing PPE.

+ Basic computer and math skills.

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with assembly, hand tools, production.

+ Blueprint reading and soldering skills.

+ Mechanical assembly and fabrication experience.

This is a position based out of Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
