    Position Title Adjunct Faculty - English (On Campus)

    Salary PTEA

     

    Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5

    Summary of Position

    To instruct in-person lecture English or Developmental Reading and Writing classes, as scheduled, on our central campus. Assist students toward a successful completion in their courses and programs.

     

    Minimum Required Education

     

    Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in English.

    Minimum Required Experience

    Three years full-time wage earning teaching experience at the post-secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology- enhanced curriculum is preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught. Be able to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, and with varying academic skill levels. Computer skills: able to use Word, Blackboard, download and install software, send and receive emails with attachments
