Job Title: Water Treatment Operator

Job Description

The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the collection, movement, and treatment of water through poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac jobs. Using technology such as tablets and iPads, operators work in teams to set up, operate, and ensure the proper functioning of water treatment systems. This role involves working with chemicals, collecting and testing samples, recording data, maintaining, setting up, and cleaning machines throughout the job cycle.

Responsibilities

+ Observing machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls to maintain specified conditions.

+ Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.

+ Following all safety procedures required per specific job tasks.

+ Assisting in containment and spill clean-ups.

+ Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and other communication methods.

+ Successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety.

+ Picking up poly line, lay flat hose, running transfer pumps, and utilizing essential equipment for water transfer operations.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience in construction, general labor, mechanical, or chemical fields.

+ Ability to work in agricultural, general labor, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.

+ Background in agricultural, general labor, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment involves reporting to the shop every morning for safety briefings, crew transfer, and daily planning before heading to the site. Work occurs outdoors, either on a pad or cutting across the ROW to access water. Shifts start at 6 am or 6 pm, depending on the day or night schedule, and run for at least 14 hours with overlap. The schedule typically involves working five days per week, with days off changing every three weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
