    • About the Role

     

    Are you a tech-savvy leader ready to take charge of high-impact installations? We're hiring a **Low Voltage Lead Technician** to oversee and execute critical infrastructure across commercial sites—including oil refineries—in the Midwest. This role demands hands-on expertise and a sharp eye for detail. You’ll be traveling regionally to elevate low voltage systems that power safety, security, and communication.

     

    • Responsibilities

    + Lead installation and service of low voltage systems: security, A/V, telecom, fire alarms

    + Remove outdated cabling/equipment and install structured copper/fiber systems

    + Terminate cabling, mount access points, and install CCTV

    + Safely operate man lifts and collaborate with contractors and other trades

    + Maintain high standards for safety, documentation, and site communication

    • Required Skills

    + 3+ years in structured cabling, video surveillance, access control, and nurse call systems

    + 1+ year in fire alarm system installation/service

    + Experience terminating copper and fiber cables

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

    + Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills

    • Additional Qualifications

    + Self-starter with drive to learn and lead in technical environments

    + Professional demeanor on job sites and with clients

    + Able to travel regionally to complete project scope

    + Comfortable working independently or as part of a skilled team

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
