•General Operator – Corn Sorting

About the Role

We’re hiring General production workers to support seasonal corn sorting operations with a leading global agricultural company. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining seed quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manually sort corn to remove rogue ears, stalks, husks, and debris

+ Rework corn ears on reclaim conveyors and discard waste properly

+ Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed for shipment

+ Operate forklifts for staging, loading/unloading, and warehouse movement

+ Enter inventory data into computer systems

+ Assist with packaging, cleaning, and 5S warehouse practices

+ Wash and inspect seed boxes and assist with audits

+ Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

What You Bring

+ Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs

+ Comfortable working outdoors and in a warehouse setting

+ Strong communication and decision-making skills

+ Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

+ Forklift experience preferred

+ Basic computer skills for data entry

+ Willingness to work long hours, rotational shifts, and overtime

Work Environment

+ PPE provided: hi-vis gear, gloves, eyewear, hard hats

+ Steel-toe boots and durable clothing required

+ Smoke-free facility with limited device use during breaks

+ Team-oriented, safety-first culture

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
