Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our dynamic team. This role requires using a sit down forklift to manage the loading and unloading of trucks, as well as handling trailers. You will be cross-trained in receiving and shipping, utilizing RF scanners and computers to update inventory and prepare shipments. This position is crucial in maintaining the flow of high volume freight in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit down forklift to load and unload trucks.

+ Move trailers efficiently within the warehouse premises.

+ Cross-train in receiving and shipping departments.

+ Utilize RF Scanner and computer systems for inventory updates.

+ Prepare shipments and handle necessary paperwork.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with sit down forklift operations is required.

+ Proficiency in computer usage for inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

+ Proficiency with RF scanner operations.

Work Environment

The role is based in a smaller warehouse with two docks, characterized by high volumes of freight movement. The facility operates three shifts, requiring flexibility with work hours to meet business demands. The dress code is casual, appropriate for a warehouse setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boardman, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
