    Job Title: Maintenance Manager

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Manager position is a full-time role with working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The role is responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees through active engagement in safety activities and providing clear communication of safe work expectations. The manager will support and investigate situations where line or equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived safety risks and will lead risk assessment activities to eliminate or reduce environmental, health, or safety risks.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead all required meetings focused on safety, including Pre-shift, Department, Change Management, and General Communication.

    + Complete incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in a timely and thorough manner.

    + Establish, oversee, and audit an effective preventive maintenance program.

    + Develop, implement, and audit systems to ensure adequate inventory of maintenance and supply items.

    + Oversee major repairs and upgrades to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

    + Review work orders and determine necessary parts to perform the tasks.

    + Coordinate maintenance department activities to follow work order requests.

    + Ensure correct maintenance is completed by qualified personnel and properly documented.

    + Coordinate vendor services for ground maintenance, trash removal, hazardous waste removal, equipment repair/installation, and project responsibilities.

    + Ensure quality workmanship in all maintenance projects.

    + Ensure all personnel have required training for safe machine operations, including Lock-Out Tag-Out, Fall Protection, PPE, Electrical/Arc Flash safety, and other safety measures.

    + Evaluate department personnel through written performance appraisals and take appropriate action for substandard conduct or performance.

    + Schedule work days, days off, vacations, and ensure payroll hours are complete and accurate.

    Essential Skills

    + Maintenance technician expertise.

    + Preventive maintenance proficiency.

    + Maintenance management and supervision.

    + Safety knowledge, especially in plastics injection molding.

    + Electrical troubleshooting and repair.

    + Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatic skills.

    + PLC troubleshooting capabilities.

    + Experience with injection molding machines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in plastic injection molding and/or plastic manufacturing.

    + Management or supervisory experience.

    + High-level maintenance experience.

    + Process improvement skills.
