Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking and packing parts and pieces within a dynamic warehouse environment.

$20/hr to get started

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack various parts and pieces accurately and efficiently.

+ Operate equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

+ Conduct inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.

+ Ensure safe handling and storage of materials within the warehouse.

+ Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in picking and packing tasks.

+ Experience with general labor and inventory management.

+ Ability to operate forklifts and RF scanners.

+ Familiarity with material handling and production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or general labor industry.

Work Environment

This role is set in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment that can be dusty and hot during the summer months, with occasional paint fumes. The paint department consists of a team of 260 employees. The dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt, with PPE such as hard hats, eye protection, vests, and ear plugs provided. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7am-3:30pm with potential Overtime after the shift and the occasional Satureday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dodge Center, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
