Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you'll be responsible for assembling tapers, tapeheads, and subassemblies for packaging machines. These machines are designed to automatically tape cardboard boxes, utilizing tapers and tapeheads to hold the rolls of tape used for this purpose.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble tapers, tapeheads, and subassemblies using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and tape measures.

+ Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and schematics to complete assembly tasks.

+ Test the functionality of assembled machines after receiving on-the-job training.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in assembly work using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience in electronic and electrical assembly, including wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working at assembly workstations or completing custom orders is preferred.

+ Adaptability to varying work tasks, as the role is non-repetitive.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROOKLYN PARK, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
