    Job Title: Water Treatment Operator

     

    Job Type: Contract to Hire

     

    Hours: 60–85+ hours per week

     

    Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour

    Job Description

    The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the collection, movement, and treatment of water using poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac sites. Operators work in teams and utilize technology such as tablets and iPads to set up, operate, and monitor water treatment systems. This role includes handling chemicals, collecting and testing water samples, recording data, and maintaining, setting up, and cleaning equipment throughout the job cycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Monitor machine operations and gauges; adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.

    + Set up and service pumps and generators at job sites.

    + Follow all safety procedures and protocols for each task.

    + Assist in containment and spill clean-up efforts.

    + Communicate effectively with team members using radios, signals, and other methods.

    + Complete required training for DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance.

    + Operate and maintain poly line, lay flat hose, transfer pumps, and other essential equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience in construction, general labor, mechanical, or chemical fields.

    + Ability to work in physically demanding environments such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, or warehousing.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Background in agricultural, general labor, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.

    Work Environment

    + Report to the shop each morning for safety briefings, crew assignments, and daily planning.

    + Work is conducted outdoors, either on a pad or along the right-of-way (ROW) to access water sources.

    + Shifts begin at 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM and typically last at least 14 hours.

    + Standard schedule includes five working days per week, with rotating days off every three weeks.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
