Traveling Landscape Technician – Stormwater Maintenance

Job Description: We’re hiring a **Traveling Landscape Technician** to support stormwater inspections and maintenance across commercial properties in Iowa and surrounding states. If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work, light construction, and traveling to new sites, this role offers consistent hours, growth potential, and a mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do

+ Visit 30–35 commercial sites monthly to inspect and maintain stormwater infrastructure

+ Monitor construction near ponds, drainage areas, and water features

+ Perform mowing, trimming, debris removal, and light repairs

+ Operate landscaping and light construction equipment

+ Travel regionally using a company truck (lodging and per diem provided)

What You Bring

+ 1–2 years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance

+ Familiarity with landscaping tools and stormwater systems

+ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

+ Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting, and working on uneven terrain

+ Willingness to travel 10–12 nights per month (Mon–Fri)

+ Must pass back ground check and drug screening

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
