Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the organization and storage of raw materials and completed products in a safe manner. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the warehouse process, from the receipt of goods to their shipment to customers, and the capability to track this process within our information system. The position also involves receiving products from delivery.
Responsibilities
+ Verify that the quantity and quality of goods received are consistent with the receiving slip and supplier counts, and immediately report discrepancies.
+ Safely offload and store goods in the appropriate location.
+ Enter all received goods into the business system daily.
+ Maintain inventory controls and manage periodic inventory counts according to company policies and procedures.
+ Ensure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner.
+ Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
+ Deliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required.
+ Establish and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.
+ Organize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to package materials appropriate to their shipping or storage methods.
+ Working knowledge of raw materials, warehouse, and production scheduling.
+ Strong forklift skills including driving vehicles indoors and outdoors.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle heavy loads.
+ Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
+ Good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Possess a valid driver's license.
+ Current forklift certification.
+ Experience within the warehousing industry preferred.
+ Ability to drive Counterbalance – Standup and sit-down models preferred.
+ ERP knowledge is a plus.
+ Flexibility in work hours/schedule.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
