About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Sioux Falls, SD. This hands-on role involves assembling a variety of mechanical and electrical components, with a focus on plumbing systems and electrical wiring. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where quality, safety, and precision are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assemble plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics.

+ Perform electrical assembly tasks such as wiring, soldering, and connecting components.

+ Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

+ Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assemblies.

+ Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and standards.

+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

+ Document work performed and report any discrepancies or defects.

Qualifications

Required:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 1+ year of experience in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical assembly.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred:

+ Technical certification or vocational training in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.
