Job Description
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance of plant equipment, including flat freezers, refrigeration systems, and electrical systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues swiftly while ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise maintenance activities related to plant equipment, including flat freezers and refrigeration systems.
+ Implement swift solutions to arising problems with plant equipment.
+ Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission components of all manufacturing equipment.
+ Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions efficiently.
+ Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Showcase strong leadership and interpersonal skills while managing the maintenance team.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with plant equipment, including flat freezers and refrigeration systems.
+ Electrical troubleshooting capabilities, including experience with 480V 3-phase systems.
+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and inputs/outputs.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission components.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong organizational and self-motivation skills.
+ Experience with conveyor systems, simple hydraulics, lifts, and grinders.
+ Experience in diesel mechanics is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean environment typical of a food manufacturing facility, with aromas of both raw and cooked meat. The position follows a second shift schedule from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, with work every other weekend due to understaffing. Expect a 60-hour work week. Dress code includes non-slip shoes and jeans.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
