Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Currently hiring 1st shift Maintenance Technicians in the Minooka, IL area. Hiring immediately.

**Shift:** 1st shift, Weekends.

+ 5:00am - 5:30pm

Job Description

+ Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.

+ Communicate effectively with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing.

+ Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures.

+ Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, and external I/O devices.

+ Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic equipment.

+ Diagnose refrigeration and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electrical, mechanical, and schematic troubleshooting.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding compressor systems.

+ PLC troubleshooting and programmable logic controller expertise.

+ Experience in preventive maintenance and electrical maintenance.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting and robotics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Coursework or certification in electronic technology with 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Alternatively, 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance specializing in electronic technology.

+ Preferred: Associate's Degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant experience.

+ 10+ years of relevant work experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment

The role operates on a B1 Schedule, working Saturday to Monday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, totaling approximately 34 hours a week. The work environment includes exposure to varying temperatures, extreme conditions, and requires special handling of substances. The role involves moving over uneven surfaces, working at heights, and in areas with high noise levels. It requires work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.95 - $35.95/hr.
