Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled electrician to perform conduit installation, including both underground and wall-mounted conduits. The role involves mounting large wire pulling boxes and device installation as part of the renovation of dorms, lodging areas, and Zone 1 at Tyndall AFB. The ideal candidate must possess their own hand tools and be capable of obtaining base access.

Responsibilities

+ Perform conduit installation, including underground and wall-mounted conduits.

+ Mount large wire pulling boxes and install devices.

+ Conduct wire pulling and ensure proper electrical connections.

+ Work with small EMT conduits ranging from 3/4 inch to 1 inch.

+ Follow electrical blueprints for accurate installation.

+ Run conduit and pull wires efficiently and safely.

+ Install fire alarm systems as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in conduit installation and wire pulling.

+ Ability to mount large wire pulling boxes.

+ Proficiency in installing 600V cabling.

+ Must possess own hand tools.

+ Capability to obtain base access.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in federal or construction environments.

+ Familiarity with electrical blueprints.

Work Environment

The position is based at Tyndall AFB, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The work involves renovation activities within dorms and lodging areas, requiring adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
