PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Workday Financials Product Lead supports the administration, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our Workday Financials modules. This role is responsible for supporting and configuring changes in Workday, advanced reporting, analytics, business process and integrations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the Workday system aligns with Finance and business processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Supports Workday financials modules, including user setup, data integration, reporting, and system configuration.
+ Builds and maintains financial models, dashboards, reports, and assumptions in Adaptive Planning to meet evolving business needs.
+ Supports annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes through system setup, data uploads, and template/report creation.
+ Continuously evaluates and improves processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Functions as a subject matter expert and provides guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
+ Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and implements changes to optimize financial operations.
+ Assists with training and development of team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
+ Identifies Workday and technology opportunities and challenges and analyzes impact of updates.
+ Proposes and designs appropriate Workday and related technology solutions.
+ Provides support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during new module implementation or enhancements to ensure system configuration accuracy and functionality.
+ Assists team members in evaluating Workday configuration options and provides guidance on building interfaces/integrations with other Finance and corporate systems.
+ Performs daily administrative and production support tasks as required.
+ Serves as the systems expert in Office Connect and the reporting expert to help build and manage all financial reports and dashboards.
+ Acts as a liaison between WD Adaptive and WD financial. Ensures all updates are in sync for both systems and implements best practices between systems.
+ Builds and maintains training guides for all Workday related products and technology.
+ Works with IT to troubleshoot and resolve application and integration related incidents and problems.
+ Stays current with Workday releases, trends, industry best practices, and proactively identifying opportunities for system optimization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
+ Minimum 2+ years’ experience working with Workday Financials with hands-on configuration experience in areas such as core financials, expense, and/or Adaptive planning.
+ Demonstrated experience in creating calculated fields for reports and system configuration.
+ Experience with providing user support and training is a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Workday Pro Certification in Workday Finance and/or one other module is highly desirable.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
+ Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
+ Proficiency in creating and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
+ Ability to provide advanced research, analysis, and testing of reported issues and/or new functionality.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
+ Outstanding project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
+ Excellent integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
+ Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to provide timely follow-up and resolution on projects and tasks.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting preferred.

Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position requires more than 80% computer use.

The current range for this position is
$78,678.61 - $132,686.15
This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate, including experience, education and the location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
