    The Position: Laboratory Services Director

     

    Employment status: Full Time / Exempt Status

     

    Hours per two-week pay period: 80

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Oversee the daily operations of a CLIA-compliant, moderately complex laboratory.

    + Collaborate with the Laboratory Medical Director to ensure high standards of diagnostic testing and patient safety.

    + Lead, staff, and mentor a team of professionals to provide 24/7 quality laboratory services.

    + Monitor and manage equipment purchasing, maintenance, and implementation in a fiscally responsible manner.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Previous MLT experience in a clinical laboratory required.

    + 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

     

    Certifications and Licenses

     

    + Bachelor-s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology).

    + Montana licensure (or eligibility) as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

    Position Summary:

    Sidney Health Center is seeking a Laboratory Services Director to join our I CARE team in the Clinical Laboratory setting. Essential duties of the position include working with the Laboratory Medical Director to provide essential services of a Moderately Complex Clinical Laboratory in compliance with CLIA standards. Join a team of dedicated staff to provide safe and competent Laboratory Services in a fiscally responsible way.
