Department Summary
Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Sling division of DISH MediaSales has experienced tremendous growth since its inception in 2015. Our New York team is growing and we are seeking a **Digital Advertising Operations Specialist** to work in DISH’s New York City office and support our advertising clients and sales teams by owning the daily operations of airing commercials targeting precise audiences in an OTT environment and correct order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Work with a team of Digital Ad Ops Specialists to flawlessly traffic direct sales and programmatic digital advertising campaigns in a timely manner and track campaigns’ workflow by maintaining status documents
+ Manage live campaigns by analyzing daily performance and making optimizations in ad servers to ensure fulfillment and maximize yield
+ Provide campaign and trafficking updates to the broader Ad Sales team during weekly team meetings, daily campaign status emails and dashboards and as needed to other departments, clients, etc.
+ Investigate, troubleshoot and provide feedback for campaign delivery issues; such as under pacing, reporting discrepancies, and technical issues; to sales, clients and technology vendors
+ Participate in ad hoc projects; such as researching and implementing new digital advertising technologies, Ad Ops processes, advertising products; to help grow DISH’s digital advertising sales business
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree preferably and a minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience in digital advertising operations, campaign management, trafficking, or programmatic experience
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
+ Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized with an ability to multi-task and execute under aggressive timelines
+ Knowledge of personal computers and data entry required and must be comfortable with multiple operating systems and software applications
+ Industry experience and familiarity with ad servers, order management systems, SSPs and DSPs, such as FreeWheel, GAM, Magnite, etc. a plus
+ Shows initiative and possesses the ability to course-correct when needed
+ A team player who values collaboration, both internally and externally, but can be equally comfortable and successful working alone

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $31.03/Hour - $44.51/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
