Specialty Pharmacy Solutions Executive
Overview
Omnicell is seeking a dynamic and strategic Specialty Pharmacy Solutions Executive to expand our specialty pharmacy service offerings. In this high-impact sales role, you will engage health systems and hospital leaders to deliver innovative solutions that build, optimize, and advance specialty pharmacy performance and value.
Responsibilities
+ Drive Specialty Pharmacy Growth: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with health systems and hospitals through both new specialty pharmacy builds and optimization of existing programs.
+ Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead the end-to-end sales process, including market targeting, lead generation, solution design, proposal development, and deal closure.
+ Strategic Account Planning: Conduct market assessments and develop strategic plans for top regional and national health systems.
+ Executive Engagement: Build relationships with C-suite executives, pharmacy directors, and key decision-makers to understand challenges and present ROI-driven solutions.
+ Pipeline Development: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using Salesforce CRM and approved sales methodologies.
+ Client Relationship Expansion: Manage and deepen existing client partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring long-term operational success.
+ Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Omnicell at industry conferences and client events, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor in specialty pharmacy.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, operational, legal, and finance teams to deliver compelling proposals and ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation.
Required Qualifications
+ Demonstrated success selling complex healthcare solutions into health systems or hospitals, with preference given to those with experience in pharmacy or specialty pharmacy.
+ Deep understanding of specialty pharmacy workflows, 340B program requirements, payer relationships, and clinical operations.
+ Ability to communicate and influence at the executive level with confidence and credibility.
+ Strong financial acumen and the ability to create and present business cases showing clear ROI.
+ Experience managing long-cycle, high-value consultative sales processes.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
+ Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and consultative sales frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous experience in healthcare sales, specialty pharmacy services, 340B solutions, or health system consulting.
+ Background in pharmacy services, pharmacy benefit management, payer strategy, or provider-led care models.
+ Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Work Environment
Remote/home-office based role with up to 60% travel for client meetings, onsite visits, and industry events.
