    Position Overview:

    The Radiologic Technologist coordinates and performs a wide variety of quality diagnostic radiographic examinations and may assist in the performance of procedures. The Technologist must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the following: anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, radiographic equipment operation, safe patient transfers and positioning techniques, and ethical and professional conduct. The Technologist ensures accurate documentation, effective communications and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients. Responsible for accurate charge capture.

     

    Population served includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

     

    Schedule: Minimum 7 days per month. Must be flexible with Day, Swing, or Night Shift. 8-hour shifts.

     

    Per Diem Position: $1.50 per diem differential in lieu of benefits.

    EDUCATION

    _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

     

    + Graduation from a Joint Commission-approved School of Radiologic Technology.

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    + ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire

    + CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire

    + RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire

    + BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

    + Previous experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is desirable.

    + Prior work experience in an acute care facility is preferable.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    + Must be knowledgeable of technical factors and radiographic views.

    + Demonstrates proficiency with multiple computerized systems.

    + Demonstrates proficiency when working with picture archiving and communicating systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.

    Pay Range is $58.09 to $72.94 / hour

     

    _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
