    This is a temporary role from August 2024 – March 2025

     

    Candidates must be available to work a hybrid work schedule in Palo Alto, CA. Hybrid is 3 days week onsite, 2 days week remote

     

    As a **Senior Operations Specialist** , you will play a critical role in supporting SAP Labs U.S. by ensuring operational excellence within our teams. This role is pivotal for driving cross strategy collaboration, maintaining our status as a Best Workplace and creating a vibrant, engaging work environment for our employees.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Budget and Logistics Management: Manage budget requests and coordinate planning for Labs U.S. locations outside the Bay Area, ensuring efficient operations.

    + CSR and Sponsorships: Collaborate on corporate social responsibility activities and sponsorship initiatives to strengthen community ties.

    + Employee Group Events: Facilitate local employee group meetings and events, promoting community involvement and networking.

    + Event Support and Management: Assist in organizing d-com events and executive engagement activities, managing logistics and content effectively.

    + SAP Academy for Product & Engineering Support:

    + Design, schedule, and execute a comprehensive onboarding and upskilling program in January and July 2026.

    + Mentor Next Gen Talents through monthly 1:1 meetings and informal sessions.

    + Support recruitment efforts by conducting interviews and providing candidate feedback.

    + Starting December/January – Formalizing rotation teams through communication with LoB COOs for matching during January Placement Day, collecting and reporting of global KPIs, alignment with program leads in Labs Hungary & Bulgaria, and overseeing the organization of Lunch & Learns with Social Committee.

    + Project Management: Lead and support various projects aligned with team strategy and objectives.

    What You'll Bring:

    You are proactive, resilient, and have a passion for lifelong learning. You thrive in dynamic environments and excel in innovative projects.

    _Qualifications_ :

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.

    + 5 years of relevant work experience in business operations, business strategy, or project management, experience with operational strategy or organizational development preferred.

    _Skills and Experience:_

    + Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto three days per week.

    + Strong organizational skills with a collaborative and flexible approach.

    + Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams is advantageous.

    + Experience in event planning and coordination.

    **Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 121,800 - 255,700 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
