Job Summary:
+ Responsible for development and conduct of project(s) within the scope of funded and future projects.
+ Maintain accurate lab notebook and primary data.
+ Work independently with supervision from Dr. Kohler
+ Present data to lab and group lab meetings.
+ Write project summaries and manuscripts.
+ Supervision of students and Professional Research Assistants within the lab

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field in the bio-medical sciences.
+ Experience in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques
+ Experience in standard computer software related to writing, data analysis, and data presentation.
Condition of Employment:
+ Willingness to conduct in vivo experiments in mouse models
+ Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
_Preferred Qualifications:_
+ _Prior experience in Immunology research, particularly T cell research_
+ _Prior experience in tumor immunology and/or immunotherapy research_
+ _Prior experience with in vivo mouse experiments_
+ _Proficiency with flow cytometry_
+ _Prior experience with CRISPR screens and RNA-Seq_
+ _Proficiency in bioinformatics and analysis of large data sets_
+ _Prior experience in signal transduction research_
_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
+ _PhD level knowledge and understanding of basic cellular and molecular biology_
+ _Expertise in cell culture techniques_
+ _Expertise in basic molecular biology techniques_
+ _Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting_
+ _Able to work independently within a large collaborative environment_
+ _Able to troubleshoot and design experiments_
+ _Ability to follow and maintain protocols when handling hazardous materials._
+ _Excellent verbal and written communication skills._
+ _Ability to maintain an accurate lab notebook and data_
+ _Proficiency in scientific writing and presentation of scientific work_
+ _Ability to design and troubleshoot experiments, and carry out projects with a high level of independence_
