Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Employee Relations Specialist to provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organization. This role involves offering first-line guidance on a variety of people-related matters and managing employee relations cases from initiation through resolution. The ideal candidate will deliver clear, risk-based advice and contribute to a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
+ Advise managers on HR matters including absence management, performance issues, grievances, disciplinaries, and probation reviews.
+ Coach and support managers to handle employee relations issues confidently and in alignment with legal and organizational standards.
+ Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions and workshops focused on ER best practices.
+ Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
+ Draft formal documentation such as invite and outcome letters, take meeting notes, and prepare supporting materials.
+ Support redundancy processes including calculations, scripting, and coordination of consultation meetings.
+ Oversee absence cases, including reasonable adjustments and Occupational Health referrals.
+ Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for policy and process improvements.
+ Stay current with employment law and HR best practices and expand knowledge across jurisdictions as needed.
+ Participate in HR projects and cross-functional initiatives to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
+ 3+ years of hands-on Employee Relations experience.
+ Solid understanding of HR policies and employment regulations (multi-country or global experience is a plus).
+ Bachelors degree or recognized HR qualification (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) is preferred.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to coach and mentor managers effectively.
Details:
+ Pay: $48.71/hr.
+ Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental and vision benefits offered.
+ Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm (1 hour lunch | 37.5 hours per week)
+ Hybrid Schedule after training | 2 days onsite, 3 days work from home.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.71 - $48.71/hr.
