The Planning and Launch team is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage launch initiatives. The Operations Project Manager, Launch Management, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the launch process, from the creation of project plans and team structure to the final delivery. Ideally, you will bring building solid relationships with stakeholders, cross team collaboration and leading discussions to operate work that directly impacts the business vision and strategy. We are looking for an individual who can drive successful launches (projects) and contribute to the overall success of the business. Responsibilities
+ Creates and maintains artifacts as defined in all phases of Microsoft Operations delivery lifecycle.
+ Manage short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently.
+ Delivery of Microsoft Launch Center (MLC) artifacts and stage gate criteria for all stages.
+ Contribute to the movement and speed to market of approved projects through the MLC.
+ Provides input on portfolio decision making and prioritization communications as part of the defined Portfolio Rhythm of Business (ROB).
+ Participate and facilitate in cross Go-to-Market (GTM) portfolio discussions and Business Portfolio ROB.
+ Work effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel to drive for results and solve problems.
+ Work under and meet continual deadline constraints.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Human Resources (HR), Organizational Development or related field AND 2+ years experience in operations or process design or program/project management
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ year(s) of project or program management experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of operations or process design or program/project management
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Human Resources (HR), Organizational Development or related field AND 5+ years experience in operations or process design or program/project management
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
+ Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
+ Capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions.
+ Ability to identify and implement effective industry practices to improve existing processes; demonstrable achievement within a results-driven, highly ambiguous and dynamic environment.
+ Customer advocacy to ensure impact minimalization.
+ Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management; conflict/negotiation management; independent, flexible and proactive in your approach.
+ Microsoft Services knowledge or background in a similar industry.
+ Experience in Operations, a multinational environment, and engaging with Finance stakeholders.
+ Initiative and drive for continuous improvement and delivery against objectives.
+ Negotiation skills with the ability to impact and influence at higher-levels.
+ Ability to manage short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently.
Launch Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
