The **Commercial Product and Infrastructure (CPI) Finance** organization is responsible for driving Microsoft cloud & AI capacity, margin excellence, and resource allocation rigor across Microsoft’s portfolio. Within CPI, the **Resource Investment Strategy Finance Team** is an exciting and fast-evolving team that partners deeply with engineering leaders to ensure $20B+ resources across ~100K engineers are continuously aligned to strategic engineering priorities.
We are looking for a **Finance Manager** to work closely with Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I), Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP), and Networking controllers to support Capacity and Supply Chain engineering leaders. This role works with finance and engineering partners to develop reporting and BI capabilities to drive actionable financial insights across the businesses.
You will use technical skills in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and related tools, along with experience in financial modeling and reporting, to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
+ Own all capacity-related financial reporting and analytics for engineering and finance partners.
+ Manage system load and validation to support various Rhythm of Business (ROB) workstreams, including close, forecast, budget, and long-range planning (LRP).
+ Reconcile data across various financial systems (e.g., Mantis, BPC) for people and vendor expenses.
+ Lead process improvement and simplification initiatives.
+ Prepare ad hoc reports and perform analysis as assigned.
+ Evangelize and enable AI-powered business intelligence and analytics.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in data modeling and reporting.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 3+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
+ OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 5+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
