The Global Partner GTM, Programs & Operations (GPO) organization within GPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

     

    In this role, **Senior Executive Communications Manager** , you will be part of a team supporting executive communication development for a group of executives across GCPS. The primary focus of this role is to collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business to understand current and planned business strategies, operating models, and technical initiatives and to translate those business and technical insights into clear, compelling communications that are easily consumed by the audience. As such, you will be masterful in both learning the business and fostering, mutually beneficial relationships that enable you to deliver high-impact messaging aligned to strategic priorities.

     

    Your work will span executive presentations, internal and external email and messaging, and strategic storytelling—crafting compelling narratives and high-impact communications that resonate with internal and external audiences including partners and customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with SMEs across the business, including within the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP) teams and other groups within GGPO and across GCPS to understand current and planned business strategies, partner programs, and technical priorities such as —such as partner skilling advances, Metrics that Matter, etc. and translate those business and technical insights into clear, compelling communications that are easily consumed by both internal Microsoft teams and external partners and customers.

    + Develop and deliver executive-level communications that support GCPS priorities and partner engagement strategies, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging across vehicles.

    + Write and edit content for presentations, speeches, messaging docs, and emails tailored to internal and external audiences.

    + Lead communications planning for key events, announcements, and partner engagements.

    + Contribute to the overall team’s communication strategy and plans, contributing best practices and thought leadership

    + Build repeatable frameworks and best practices for executive communications and partner storytelling.

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.

    + Monitor and analyze the impact of messaging for a given event or issue, then create responses as needed. You’ll also drive strategy by gathering and synthesizing data from various sources, as well as by determining which metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate.

    + Collaborate with other key stakeholder communities across SME&C, IPS and Microsoft executing across the matrixed organization on shared events or deliverables as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required/minimum qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + Experience with technical understanding of Microsoft cloud and AI technologies and the work that partners do to develop, build-upon, and extend cloud solutions

    + 4+ years experience of executive communications and/or marketing experience, including advanced skills at writing executive communications, value propositions, and messaging

    Additional or preferred qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + Passionate, results-driven, and organized approach; with an attention to detail: A self-starter who can create and deliver scalable plans from concept to delivery, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, effectively driving to measurable results

    + Engagement expertise: Storytelling skills and passion for delighting partners, advocating on their behalf, creating partner experiences, and understanding the linkage between these experiences and business success

    + Experience in ability to articulate both business and technical value of Microsoft cloud and AI services to senior business and technical decision makers

    + Experience in proposing, creating, and managing executive-level proposals and presentations

    + Ability to work in an ambiguous and constantly changing business and technical environment and are comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment as a part of multiple vTeams or workstreams

     

    Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
