Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a **Financial Analyst - Journeyman** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

+ Provides financial management functions and assists in applying TO financial policies and procedures across the program

+ Works with the PM to define the program’s financial objectives and helps develop a scalable financial management approach that fits the work-flow and AAS business processes

+ Participates in executing key financial management tasks, including performing cost analysis, financial forecasting, and preparing detailed financial reports

+ Manages working capital activities such as invoicing for unbilled costs, accruals, and handling on-hold costs and cost backups

+ Provides support for program financial revenue projections and variance analysis. Leads the production of financial deliverables, including the MSR, updates to portal financial data, and contributes to developing ROMs/BOMs for TDPs

Qualifications

Required:

+ Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field

+ 4-9 years of experience in financial analysis or program control, preferably in a DoD or federal environment

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas) and financial modeling tools

+ Familiarity with DoD PPBE process and federal budgeting practices

+ Strong analytical and organizational skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

+ Bachelor's degree in related field

+ Experience with systems such as GFEBS or DEAMS

+ Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and DoD Financial Management Regulations

+ Experience supporting acquisitions programs or working in a Program Management Office

+ Certified Personal Accountant or Certified Government Financial Manager

Clearance:

+ Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

+ DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role

+ CompTIA Security+ CE
