Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a **Configuration Manager - Journeyman** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

+ Assistsin the development and integration of a comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) process to enhance the efficiency, interoperability, and resilience of the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE)

+ Contributes tomaintainingan authoritative, data-driven CM process that forms the foundation of EIE architecture, aligned with USSOUTHCOM strategies and missionobjectives

+ Supports the configuration management of an IT blueprint detailing the inputs, outputs, and interoperability conditions of the EIE

+ Helps create andmaintainan accurateservice catalog, integrating cyber and data-informed capabilities to meet evolving requirements

+ Collaborates with senior team members to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of the EIE, driving improved organizational performance

Qualifications

Required:

+ Associate’s degreeinInformation Systems, Engineeringor related field

+ Experience may substitute for formal education based on DoD guidelines

+ 4-9yearsof experience inConfiguration Management or related IT/ engineering support role

+ Working knowledge of CM methodologies and tools

+ Familiarity with system lifecycle frameworks such as DoD Acquisition Lifecycle

+ Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills

+ Strong collaboration skills across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations team

Desired:

+ Bachelor’s degree inProject Management, Engineering,Businessor related field

+ Experiencewith DevOps orDevSecOpsprinciples and tooling

+ Familiaritywith ITIL frameworks and service delivery processes

+ Understanding ofDoDAFand architecture alignment practices

+ Experiencesupporting DoD of Federal government programs

+ Working knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipeline, and automation tools

+ Proficient in managing baselines for virtualized or cloud-basedenvironments

+ Certified International Configuration Manager

+ Configuration Management Analyst

+ Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger certification

Clearance:

+ Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

+ DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role

+ CompTIA Security+ CE
