Ball-Chatham is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our existing Titan Talent as a

School Nurse (RN) at Glenwood High School!

Starting Rate: $32.00 per hour commensurate with experience

WHAT DO SCHOOL NURSES DO?

+ Serve as a health education resource person to students, staff, and families

+ Provide first aid care and administer necessary immunizations

+ Maintains an accurate health record for each student including immunizations, physical exam information and data regarding medical problems

+ Accurately order, maintain, and inventory medical supplies and maintain supply budget wisely and efficiently

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

+ Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of IL

+ Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal and DCFS background check.

+ Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatments, especially as it relates to children and adolescents

+ Considerable knowledge of child growth and development

+ Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies

+ Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services
