Instructional Aide / School Aide – Compton Unified School District

Position Summary

AMERGIS Educational Staffing is hiring Instructional Aides to support classrooms across Compton Unified School District . This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and student success. You'll work closely with teachers and staff to provide academic and behavioral support in a dynamic K–12 environment.

Responsibilities

+ Assist teachers with instructional delivery and classroom activities

+ Provide one-on-one or small group support to students

+ Support students with special needs or IEPs as directed

+ Supervise students during non-instructional periods (e.g., lunch, recess)

+ Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

+ Collaborate with school staff to enhance student learning

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Experience working with children preferred

+ Must pass background check and TB test

+ Amergis live scan, CUSD specific live scan required

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
