Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a **Lead Analyst, Government Contracts** **located in Raritan, NJ.**
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (JJHCS) provides contracting, supply chain, business services, and strategic solutions to customers and commercial intermediaries of U.S. based Johnson & Johnson companies, including hospital systems, health plans, distributors, wholesalers, purchasing organizations, government payer programs, and government healthcare institutions in the U.S. JHCS also engages with customers to provide streamlined supply chain services for our products that seamlessly integrate with customer operations, address shared evolving market challenges to value-based care, and develop innovative solutions that improve patient care and access.
Acting on behalf of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and MedTech operating companies, the Government Contracting team is responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant end to end contracting with Federal, State and Local Government entities as well as support for Government programs such as Tricare Retail and 340B.
The Government Contracting team is relied upon to negotiate contracts, daily monitoring of the Price Reduction Clause as well as monitoring of policy and legislative changes. Ensure that disclosures are provided to the Government in compliance with terms and conditions of each contract. In addition, the team reviews commercial strategies for impact to Government contracting, reports findings and develops recommendations for alternative strategies.
The Lead Analyst, Government Contracts will provide guidance, oversight and leadership to a team of Analysts and Associate Analysts while supporting the day-to-day activities of contract load and maintenance and membership related to government contracting. This includes, but is not limited to new contract set-up, contract changes, payments, roster management, work instruction reviews and contracting system questions/issues.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Day to day oversight of contract services operations
+ Support contract services and membership on system load issues and customer alignment
+ Review day to day operations to ensure individuals have proper instruction
+ Provide training to ensure all analysts are performing contract set up and actions consistently
+ Provide technical knowledge regarding contract actions
+ Address any anomalies, develop standardized practices for future contract loads/maintenance
+ Review work instructions with the team to ensure processes are appropriately documented
Qualifications
Education:
+ Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree is required
Experience and skills
Required:
+ A minimum of four (4) years of experience in business operations and administrative services.
+ Healthcare related industry experience
+ Ambitious, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple priorities.
+ Experience in contracting systems (ie. ICS and CORE)
+ Demonstrated collaboration and partnering skills are required to be successful in this role
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment
+ Ability to synthesize and clearly compile and analyze large amounts of complex data
+ Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office applications
+ Demonstrated interest in training and coaching others to develop new skills
+ Very strong technical, analytical and time management skills and the ability to multi-task while working on multiple requests simultaneously with minimal supervision
+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with strong interpersonal skills accompanied by honest and ethical behavior
+ The ability to make decisions and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
+ Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry experience
+ Specialized knowledge of government and commercial contracting
+ Demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to complex business matters
+ Previous involvement in Contract Administration with understanding of MedTech and pharmaceutical business
Other:
+ This position may require up to a 10% of domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$91,000 to $147,200
