    Overview:

    Individual contributor who is a developing subject matter expert, who works independently with minimal direction. Implements data-driven and streamlined sales training programs, new hire orientations, and educational content for selling functions that focus on accelerating sales growth by building employee expertise and providing positive, engaging customer experiences. Remains abreast on training practices, innovative new content delivery methods and maintains an in-depth knowledge of company products, services and policies, and ensures Sales Training objectives align with company vision and customer needs.

    Responsibilities:

    + Implements methods for assessing and identifying Sales Training program needs by using department performance reports, analyzing customer feedback and analytics data, benchmarking standard processes, and applying key metrics to measure effectiveness.

    + Applies in-depth knowledge of various selling functions, their specific responsibilities and crucial roles, to develop department-specific sales training programs that deliver relevant education.

    + Acts as a top level specialist and developing subject matter authority on innovative sales enablement tools, sales cycle management, and strategic sales plans and provides actionable insights from customer feedback and sales reporting data to inform training curriculum.

    + Coaches sales consultants across the organization's selling portfolio to build sales proficiencies that emphasize technical training, clinical selling, sales cycle operations, strategic account management, and enterprise and market effectiveness

    + Facilitates quality assessments of training programs and drives strategic plans to address knowledge gaps and ensure achievement of functional and organizational standards.

    + Confers with sales area leaders and internal partners to share new strategic sales concepts and innovations in sales enablement platforms and customer relationship management systems that are crucial to sales performance.

    + Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

    + Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

    Qualifications: Required

    + 6-8 years of relevant experience - required

    + Minimum of a BA required with advanced degree or equivalent in applicable field preferred

    + 2 years of Instructional Curriculum Design experience

    Preferred:

    + Formal Training or Certification in Instructional Design

    + Demonstrate strong knowledge of Learning Management systems management, strategy planning, needs assessment, adult learning, and cost benefit analysis

    + Proven ability to understand business strategy; translate it into learning solutions that support the company’s business goals

    + Track record of partnerships with multi functional teams and across the organization

    + Proven track record managing vendor resources

    + Proven project management, negotiation, and consulting skills

    + Medical Device, field sales, marketing or related experience

    + Experience working in OUS marketplace or with OUS teams

    + Langevin Certification or ADDIE experience in Instructional Design

    + LMS Module Creation

    + Latest knowledge on innovative Learning & Development standards

    + Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $100,000 - $172,500

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
