PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Serve as the functional tax team owner for the domestic Flexible Work Arrangement program, ensuring compliance, timely collaboration with business partners and employees to maintain accuracy. Including timely case closure based on SLA.
+ Provide support for administering the Payroll Tax queue in the Case Management System, ensuring that employee inquiries are resolved or advanced promptly.
+ Asist with processing Federal and State Tax Withholding Lock-In-Letters.
+ Provide support for administering the Daily Tax Mail Inbox, including electronic communications to the NA Payroll Tax Mailbox and physical mail.
+ Assist with processing required regulatory reporting (e.g., BLS) and provide reports to internal and external Stakeholders as required.
+ Assist with Federal, State, and Local Agency Payroll Tax Notices and UI Tax Rates update with TPV and Payroll System as directed.
+ Assist with the Set-up and maintain of Tax Withholding and UI Tax Accounts with TPV and Tax Agencies.
+ Responsible for timely Tax Payment processing through Accounts Payable.
+ Assist the Payroll Tax Manager and Team with special projects as needed.
+ Adhere to company, department, and team standards of professionalism and protocol. Assure that behavior follows the J&J Credo and supports a positive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ 4 years / Bachelor’s degree is preferred
+ A minimum of 1+ years of US Payroll Tax experience is required
+ Experience with an ERP system such as Payroll, HR, OM modules of SAP is required
+ Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in addressing customer requests, ensuring prompt resolution while effectively handling pressure is required
+ Experience in a shared service center environment preferred
+ Experience working with Excel
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills required. Attention to detail is a must
+ Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters
+ Proficient verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully work with internal partners and colleagues to contribute ideas, find opportunities, and contribute to positive outcomes
+ Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is desirable.
+ This position will be based in Tampa, FL
