As a member of the Filtration and Separation Division (FSD) leadership team, you will lead global Strategy function supporting the entire breadth of the product lines. You will also partner with the FSD President in designing and driving the integration management process within the business, ensuring accountability and detailed execution of transformation activities across the organization as the former Purification and Filtration Division transfers to the Bio Production Group in Thermo Fisher.
Key Responsibilities
+ Drive long term planning, strategy execution for the Division
+ Provide strategic leadership for key business-wide integration processes from close
+ Serve as a liaison between Thermo Fisher and 3M/Solventum
+ Identify and address cultural integration issues, integrating countermeasures into the integration plans.
+ Exhibit exemplary leadership, serving as a role model for the integration team and acquired business.
+ Drive cross-functional and cross-business collaboration to achieve business results.
+ Build and facilitate internal communication plans to align all functions across the Division key initiatives for growth.
+ Establish and maintain robust governance structures, ensuring the engagement of relevant executives.
+ Measure success through integration thesis goals, business performance, turnover, revenue and cost alignments, and successful team integration.
+ Lead the TSAs established at the close of the acquisition to identify issues and challenges to be addressed; facilitate shorter TSA timelines where feasible.
+ Lead alignment and budget tracking and reporting, working with Finance and Human Resources to drive Division-level alliance achievement and budget alignment.
+ Using established industry knowledge and acute familiarity with the P&F culture, provide consultancy in the development of STRAP and AOP.
+ Collaborate with business and functional leaders to set strategy and resolve issues.
+ Act as a liaison between workstream teams and senior leadership.
+ Apply the PPI systems and business processes to achieve results.
Qualifications
+ Undergraduate degree in a relevant course of study. MBA and/or additional advanced degree is strongly preferred.
+ 10+ years experience with developing and deploying strategy
+ Experience with equipment & consumables in bioproduction preferred
+ Ability to develop and implement strategy. Able to perform against robust growth target, considering various metrics and data inputs.
+ Strong talent management and people development skills.
+ Ability to work across a heavily matrixed environment. Effective at interpersonal relationships.
+ Strong project management skills with ability to lead short term results concurrent with longer-term strategic achievements
+ Executive presence; Strong presentation skills
+ Travel: approximately 50% (primarily domestic/US travel)
