Job Skills/Requirements

We are seeking experienced, responsible, and professional Security Officers to join our team in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling sensitive environments where patient care, confidentiality, and emergency response are critical.

Key Responsibilities

+ Monitor premises via patrols and surveillance systems.

+ Control access to restricted areas and enforce visitor policies.

+ Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

+ De-escalate disturbances and assist with patient or visitor issues when necessary.

+ Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.

+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.

Schedule:

Saturday-Friday:5pm-5am (Split schedule)

MONDAY-Saturday:7aM-1PM

Mon-Fri:1pm-5:30pm

PAY RATE: $17.34

+ MUST HAVE SECURITY EXPERIENCED IN MEDICAL FIELD

Minimum Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Must be at least 18 years old or older

+ Minimum of 2 years of prior security experience in a healthcare environment is required.

+ Valid government-issued photo ID.

+ Connecticut Valid state-issued Security Guard License

+ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

+ Strong communication, conflict resolution, and observation skills.

+ Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods and respond quickly to emergencies.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

+ Good working knowledge of Security Operations.

+ Understanding of Safety Practices in a Business environment.

+ Ability to provide high level of Customer Service.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Be computer proficient

+ Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing in communicating with the public and co-workers, giving and receiving instructions

+ High attention to detail

+ Ability to work in various environments including but not limited to adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat.
