Emmi Roth is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Brand Manager to join our dynamic marketing team at an award-winning specialty cheese company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading product development and managing marketing strategies to enhance the value and performance of key brands, including Athenos— the #1 domestic feta brand in the U.S., Emmi— our premium Swiss imported line, and Roth— a brand with over three decades of excellence in specialty cheese.
This role offers the unique opportunity to drive the revitalization and growth of the Athenos brand while supporting the continued success of our iconic Emmi and Roth brands. You will play a key part in analyzing market data, conducting consumer research, identifying market gaps, and developing comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with both retail and foodservice customers.
The Senior Brand Manager will work closely with our sales teams to expand our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities • Own the brand P&L, tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring efficient budget allocation.• Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for Athenos, Emmi, and Roth brands, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the product portfolio and drive growth across both retail and foodservice channels.• Develop category and brand positioning strategies, portfolio architecture, product level concepts, and pricing strategies to increase marketability and maximize sales• Manage and execute product innovation and new product development processes from ideation to launch.• Drive a consumer-first mentality to develop relevant messaging and assets that deliver a clear consumer understanding of products and brand• Collaborate with the Product Development, Creative, and Marketing Communications teams to lead the development and execution of brand-building communication strategies and go-to-market plans for sales • Assist with the integration of campaigns to ensure brand consistency • Conduct post evaluation and analysis of activities, to recommend improvements and evolutions of future brand activity • Communicate product value proposition to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling process (Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement retailer-specific strategies to drive sales and product distribution.)• Create strategies to take advantage of market opportunities and conceptualize strategic initiatives and implement campaigns • Understand brand positioning within the competitive landscape, stay on top of category trends and identify market opportunities • Analyze POS data and consumer insights to draw conclusions and make recommendations that drive brand growth• Work closely with departments such as manufacturing and R&D to consult on packaging and products to ensure cohesive brand offering • Develop and manage partnerships with external agencies and third-party vendors to amplify marketing initiatives.• Manage all brand assets and collaborate with other global brand managers to maximize Emmi’s global cheese portfolio • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Qualifications Required qualifications, skills, and experience for the job; education background, certifications, relevant work experience, technical skills, and soft skills.• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business • 7+ years minimum experience in related field• Cheese or CPG market knowledge is a requirement• Demonstrated track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies and achieving sales results• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, presentation and collaboration skills with customers as well as project teams and management.• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage business relationships• Demonstrated technical proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.• Travel potential 20%
