As an*Associate Wholesale Operations Analyst,*you will work closely with internal and external customers to satisfy specific requirements. Assists in the creation of new and maintenance of existing truck rack account data in SAP and in the various terminal automation systems. Provides continuous support to customers and consumers in a prompt, professional, and confidential manner. Escalates issues to a higher level analyst, when necessary, to resolve.

* Receives and logs in-coming customer calls, emails and information received regarding invoicing and billing requests daily in the ASTRO Case Management system.

* Researches customer billing issues by gathering information utilizing both SAP and bill of ladings. Suggests appropriate course of action for resolving recurring issues within established guidelines and coordinates more complex inquiries to the appropriate department.

* Participates in setting up customer loading data using various software applications used to manage customer’s loading data at proprietary and third-party terminal locations.

* Communicates daily with external customers, carriers, and terminal personnel to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, loading issues, and master data changes or deletions to customer’s account within established guidelines.

* Interacts daily with internal contacts; Salespeople, Cash, Credit, Billing, Exchange Accounting, Pricing, Inventory Accounting, Tax Department, and Product Supply & Distribution to investigate and resolve within established guidelines billing discrepancies, loading issues, freight rates, lock outs and reinstate customer accounts, SAP seasonal product updates, incorrect tax on customer’s account, discuss allocation issues and inventory qualities at terminal locations

* Appropriate and timely escalation of issues that are outside of established guidelines to appropriate position or department.

* Uses daily error reports to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data to ensure continuous processing and invoicing through SAP.

* Verifies carrier insurance and carrier access agreements for Valero owned terminals.

* Processes lockouts, unlocks and inactivation’s of truck rack customer accounts, as requested by Credit, in SAP and communicate requests to appropriate terminal locations.

* Retains detailed electronic records of transactions received from both internal as well as external customers in FileNet in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

*This position is salaried nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.*

Qualifications:

*Minimum Requirements:*

* High School Diploma required.

* Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required.

*Preferred Requirements:*

* Bachelor's or higher level degree in business or related field.

* 1 year of related customer service experience.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
