The Children's Hospital Foundation is hiring an Associate Gift Officer who will focus on fundraising from individuals, families, and family foundations capable of making contributions between $50,000 and $1 million. This role involves building a portfolio of 100-150 potential donors. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development, the goal is to secure commitments of $25,000 and above within 18 months, aiming for an annual fundraising goal of $1.25 million.

This position offers a hybrid schedule once training is complete. Regional and occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities:

+ Build relationships to generate significant philanthropic support.

+ Develop tailored strategies for prospects and donors.

+ Collaborate with medical, nursing, and research staff.

+ Maintain detailed records in Raisers Edge.

+ Ensure prompt gift processing and recognition.

+ Bachelor's degree in Communications, marketing, sales, business or related field required.

+ 4-6 years of experience in a non-profit setting preferred; or experience in sales, marketing and communication in the for-profit environment.

+ Experience in a health care setting preferred; experience in an academic medical center desired.

+ A track record of securing major gifts from identification through cultivation and solicitation preferred.

+ Knowledge of Raiser's Edge donor tracking software preferred.
