    The opportunity.

     

    The post holder also plans, organizes, and controls stores /stocks in a professional manner ensuring prompt, efficient and quality service to the concerned units including but not limited to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and securing food and non-food items as per the location requirements, contractual specifications and in line with store and fixed assets management instructions.

     

    The Individual.

     

    + BA/Diploma in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business or other related disciplines.

    + Minimum 2 years and above in a similar or related position in food distribution projects.

    + At least two years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, stock control, or related work in INGO.

    + Having food-related supply management experience has an additional benefit.

    + Excellent knowledge of MS Office software suite.

    Safeguarding Children and Program Participants (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)

     

    + Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed per the appropriate procedures.

    + Ensures that all staff in the unit/function/department are properly inducted on and understand their role in upholding Plan International’s safeguarding and GEI policies;

    + Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Program Participant and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.

    + Ensures that Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan International’s global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that relevant reporting and data are submitted.

     

    Type of Role: Fixed term, Full time contract

     

    Reports to: Supply Chain & Admin Coordinator

    This position is only open to Ethiopian Nationals, who must be eligible to live and work in Ethiopia.
