    We have an outstanding Contract position for aProduction Assembler to join a leading Company located inMilwaukie, OR.

     

    Pay Rate Range: $19 - $20/hr

     

    Schedule: Mon - Thur 6am - 4:30pm

     

    US Citizenship is required.

     

    The Electrical Assembler II, under moderate guidance, will perform processes to manufacture a finished product, using small hand tools and soldering skills per manufacturing instructions in the cell, in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. May assist in training Assembler I associates.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.

    + Conducts inspections of own and/or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawing .

    + Prepares lead wires.

    + Performs advanced test functions.

    + Shapes, connects and installs coils, solder , braze and fuse connections.

    + Performs advanced installation.

    + Performs the marking and cleaning process.

    + May solder and assemble, electro-mechanical or mechanical assemblies/subassemblies using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturing instructions to conform to quality specifications.

    + May solder connections and electronic components to circuit boards.

    + May use coating equipment.

    + May read calipers.

    + May use a microscope.

    + May use small hand and electric tools.

    + May clean and mark surfaces to indicate measurements.

    + Ability to be trained to use simple machines such as lathes, drill presses and balance machines.

    + Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures.

    + Soldering.

    + Inspection.

    + Mechanical Assembly.

    + Bonding or Gluing.

    + Basic Testing.

    + Other specialized processes as required by manufacturing outlines.

    + Moderate paperwork requirements such as M.O. preparation.

    + Test reports, filling out and maintaining one or more required reports.

    + Performs other assigned duties as required.

     

    Basic Hiring Criteria

     

    + A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    + 2 years of Soldering and Assembly experience.

    + Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
